About My Role:
As a host for MIpreneur, I am honored to play a pivotal role in nurturing a dynamic community of entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals across Michigan. Alongside my co-host, Paul Schmidt of UnoDeuce Multimedia, we curate bi-monthly events that serve as invaluable platforms for exploration, connection, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize bi-monthly events focused on topics relevant to entrepreneurs and small business owners in Michigan
- Coordinate with co-host and guest speakers to ensure smooth execution of each event
- Promote MIpreneur events through various marketing channels to attract attendees and grow the community
- Update and manage content on the website and within the Mighty Networks community
- Welcome and engage with attendees to foster connections and facilitate networking opportunities
- Introduce guest speakers and moderate discussions during events
- Collect feedback from attendees to continuously improve the MIpreneur experience
- Collaborate with sponsors and partners to enhance the value proposition for members
- Manage logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual setup
- Stay informed about industry trends and local business developments to inform event content and programming decisions
