About my role as a Shopper
As a Shipt Shopper, I’m responsible for accurately selecting groceries and products ordered online by our customers and delivering them within the designated timeframe.
Work included:
- Travel to chosen stores to shop and fulfill customers’ online orders using a mobile device equipped with the Shipt Shopper App
- Provide excellent customer service by focusing on product quality and freshness when selecting items, and substituting potential out-of-stock items
- Effectively communicate any necessary changes to an order in a timely fashion
- Process order transactions using the in-store POS system
- Deliver orders to customers within designated timeframes
- Serve as an online ambassador for the store, answering questions about order delivery, the Shipt platform, and the benefits of using the service
About my role as a Driver
As a Shipt Driver, I am responsible for providing friendly service and assistance to customers when making deliveries to residences or places of business. Through Shipt, I deliver selected grocery and lifestyle products to customers’ desired locations from a local Shipt facility or store.
Work included:
- Establishing customer relationships through prompt and courteous service.
- Resolving customer complaints
- Meeting and surpassing productivity targets and quality standards.
- Evaluating customer needs, determining appropriate action, and referring their questions to management when necessary.
- Obtaining a signature, printed name, and ID number for the signatory on all delivery invoices
- Ensure all product is signed for at the time of the delivery and not left unattended
